Past EventsYA Fiction FB Party
Hosted by authors Kara Swanson, Heather Burch & more For lovers of paranormal, sci-fi, dystopian & fantasy fiction of the YA persuasion. One of my favorite FB parties to date! It was an evening of amazing giveaway packages coupled with off-the-cuff chats with amazing authors. I was proud to participate. The Nexis Secret Facebook Party:

Giveaways every half hour! Every half hour we be discussed the themes of The Nexis Secret, and how YOU would respond if you were Lucy, my main character. What could be better? Thanks to everyone who attended! Maranatha Book Fest 2014
I gave a talk on Angels in YA Literature complete with visual aids and gave away free bookmarks and angel wings to the local children. You can read all about it in my post, Confessions from An Author Event: 3 Surprising Secrets on Leaving Your Comfort Zone. Thanks to Bishop Leo Michael and his wife Holly Michael for setting up the Maranatha Book Fest and asking me to turn this presentation into an article. My first article Shining a Light in the Darkness: Angels in Young Adult Literature appeared in Koinonia Magazine, a quarterly denominational magazine of the Anglican church.
